In addition to state laws, Cole’s Best Buy Fireworks encourages their customers to adhere to strict safety guidelines.
County and city regulations concerning fireworks use varies so always be sure to contact local authorities before using fireworks in your area. Contact your local fire marshal for information about your specific area.
By law, retail indoor store locations are open two times a year:
- Fourth of July season
- New Year season
However, the state of Texas has added allowable fireworks dates in some parts of the state:
- New Texas fireworks laws for 2016
- The Texas state legislature has approved the sale and use of fireworks on additional days beginning in 2016. IF APPROVED BY THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT, fireworks in Texas can be purchased on Texas Independence Day (March 2), San Jacinto Day (April 21) and Memorial Day (May 30).
- This law DOES NOT impact communities that currently have year-round bans on fireworks.
